At Autonomic Align, breathwork is more than a technique — it’s a pathway back to safety, regulation, and connection within your own body. My approach blends three evidence based, clinically informed methods: Buteyko Breathing, Psychophysiological Breath Training and Oxygen Advantage. Together, these modalities create a gentle yet powerful system for restoring balance to the autonomic nervous system.
A ScienceBacked, Somatically Grounded Approach
Breath is the bridge between body and mind. When your breathing patterns become shallow, fast, or irregular — often due to stress, trauma, or chronic tension — your nervous system shifts into survival mode. Over time, this can lead to anxiety, fatigue, poor sleep, emotional reactivity, and a sense of disconnection from yourself.
The breathwork I teach helps retrain these patterns at their root.
What This Method Includes:
Oxygen Advantage This method improves functional breathing, respiratory efficiency, and oxygen delivery throughout the body. It supports better energy, mental clarity, physical performance, and resilience to stress by optimizing CO₂ tolerance and restoring natural nasal breathing.
Buteyko Breathing A gentle, clinically researched approach that reduces
overbreathing, calms the nervous system, and supports conditions such as anxiety, asthma, sleep disturbances, and chronic stress. Buteyko helps reestablish quiet, effortless breathing — the way the body was designed to function.
Psychophysiological Breath Training This training focuses on the relationship between breath, physiology, and emotional regulation. It teaches the body how to shift out of fight or flight and into a state of calm, grounded presence. Clients learn to recognize their own patterns and develop tools to regulate in real time.
Why This Work Matters
Breathwork is one of the most direct ways to influence the autonomic nervous system.
Reduce anxiety and overwhelm
Improve sleep and restfulness
Increase emotional resilience
Release chronic tension
Enhance focus and mental clarity
Feel more grounded, present, and connected
This is not forceful breathwork or intense breath manipulation. It is gentle, trauma informed, and deeply supportive — designed to meet your system where it is and guide it toward balance.
A Return to Your Natural Rhythm
Your body already knows how to breathe in a way that supports healing. My role is to help you remember that rhythm, retrain the patterns that have shifted out of alignment, and create a foundation of safety within your own physiology. Breath becomes not just a practice, but a way of living with more ease, clarity, and connection.
